Delete your Wotah account
Wotah works fully offline by default. A Social Flock account is optional — here's how to delete it and the data tied to it.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Wotah on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This immediately and permanently deletes your Social Flock account and the data listed below.
No longer have the app?
Email a deletion request from the address associated with your account to eon704@gmail.com. We'll delete your account and confirm within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your display name and email address
- Your account identifier (user ID)
- Your shared hydration data (today's count, daily goal, streak)
- Your record of nudges and cheers exchanged with friends
- Your notification token (used to deliver nudges and cheers)
- Your flock membership and buddy connections
What is retained
Anonymous crash diagnostics (Sentry) are not linked to your identity and expire automatically under Sentry's standard retention period. We keep no other personal data after deletion, except where required by law.
Deleting your account does not delete the app or your local hydration history stored only on your device — uninstalling the app removes that.
Leaving isn't deleting
Signing out of Social Flock (Log out of Flock account) stops syncing on your device but keeps your profile and friend connections on our servers so you can return later. To remove your data, use Delete account above. Accounts left inactive for 12 months are deleted automatically, and nudge/cheer records are cleared after about 90 days.
